The Colussus of Rhodes was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The 100 foot high statue depicted the Greek sun god Helios. In Greek mythology the goddess Rhodos/Rhodus was one of the wives of Helios. From 1310 to 1522 the island was ruled by the knights of Saint John of Jerusalem and Rhodes is sometimes referred to as the island of the knights. Travelstick Rhodes will be uploaded in 2022.
