Malaysia

Modern Malaysia has a long history as Asia's melting pot. With a large Chinese and Indian population, along with an indigenous culture, this one of Southeast Asia's most diverse countries. Its capital Kuala Lumpur has become one of the region's fastest developing cities. While the cool tea plantations of the Cameron Highlands and the steaming rainforests of Taman Negara make it an ideal place for low budget traveling. The Malaysian part of Borneo is home to a small population of orangutans and some of the region's most spectacular landscapes.
